The 60mm aluminum mecanum wheel is the smallest model in our mecanum wheel range. It is LEGO-compatible and includes an NXT-compatible hub and an axle-center hub for Arduino motors. Universal hubs provide additional options for connecting the wheels to a motor. Each wheel consists of eight rubber rollers mounted between two aluminum plates. These mecanum wheels allow a robot to move forward, backward, and sideways. The rollers are mounted at 45 degrees to the main wheel axis. Add the appropriate drive motors, controller boards, and batteries to complete the platform.
