Description

The aluminum mecanum wheels include a series of rollers attached to its circumference. The rollers have an axis of rotation at 45° to the plane parallel to the axis of rotation of the wheel. With a standard chassis and an independent motor for each wheel, the platform can move in any direction without changing wheel orientation. This design allows the robot to move forward, backward, and sideways.
