The 48mm steel mecanum wheel is the smallest model in our mecanum wheel range. Compatible brass hubs are available for this wheel. The hub connects the wheel to a DC motor and is available with 3mm, 4mm, or 5mm bores. Each wheel consists of eight TPR rollers mounted between two steel plates. These mecanum wheels allow a robot to move forward, backward, and sideways. The rollers are mounted at 45 degrees to the main wheel axis. Add the appropriate drive motors, controller boards, and batteries to complete the platform.
