This （6 inch）152mm stainless steel left mecanum wheel is designed to be used with three other wheels: one left and two right. Each wheel consists of 8 rollers, these rollers have an axis of rotation at 45° to the plane of the wheel in a plane parallel to the axis of rotation of the wheel. The wheel is designed for heavy-duty applications and is supplied as an assembled unit between two thick stainless steel plates. The rollers are made of black rubber. The stainless steel body provides a higher load capacity than a comparable aluminum mecanum wheel.
